The Clan
My sixth brother Raul, another Business graduate who is in computer operation, is married to Linda Mesina a professional nurse. They live in Emerson, New Jersey with sons Steve and Christian. The seventh is Alex, a Computer Engineer married to Elaine Robel. Together with sons DA and AJ, they live in Sydney, Australia. The youngest and considered as our most beautiful sister is Josie. She is a legal secretary in New York City, while husband Emil Caliboso an MBA graduate, is into finance while daughter Jem-Jem has started to work after graduating from university.

We
are the children of the late Jesus Estrellado and Teofila Subijano
of Luisiana, Laguna. Of the eight children, seven boys and
a girl, only myself reside in the Philippines. The rest are either
American or Australian citizens living abroad while Edgard is now
resting in peace.
Cezar,
a Chemical Engineer, married to Monette Froilan a professional nurse,
resides in Glendale, California and their married children, Cherry
and Peachy live in Sydney, Australia. Their third daughter Sweetie
was born to eternal life in 1995. The third is Maynard, an Electrical
Engineer who is married to Mila Asinas, resides in Union City, California
while their children Myla, Michelle and Maydran live with their respective
families in California. Fourth is Jesus, Jr., a Business graduate
involved in computer operation, married to Sonia Raneses. They
live in Benicia, California while children Joel and Jenny live
with their respective families. Edgard who passed away in 2003 is
fifth, married to Ligaya, with their three children, Eddie Boy, Sonny
Boy and Lady. Ligaya reside in Luisiana, Eddie Boy an electrical engineer
works in Japan, Sonny Boy works in Carmona, Laguna while Lady studies
nursing in FEU, Manila.
In
July of 1997, we had a grand reunion in Los Angeles, California.
This was the first time in a number of years where most of my brothers
and sister had the occasion to be together. The
latest opportunity for the family to meet was on July 17, 1999 at
Union City in California at the wedding of Myla, the eldest
daughter of Maynard and Mila. We came in full force: Alex
and Elaine, Josie and Jem, Raul and Linda, Boy and Sonia, Linda,
Ricky, Roxanne and myself. It was another grand reunion
where Cezar and Edgard were the only siblings not in attendance.
We had lots of fun: jokes, food, singing, dancing and golf.
Boy and Sonia hosted us in their lovely home in Benicia.
